Mayfield Aged Care will attend temperature reading each week and ensure that they are within the safe storage range of food. The refrigerator will be defrosted as required however, Mayfield Aged Care accepts no responsibility for the quality of any food item contained within the refrigerator or for theeffect the consumption of any such food may have upon the Resident.

Each Resident and/or their families are responsible for the quality of any food stored within the refrigerator and for the disposal of any items that are out of date.

Mayfield Aged Care acknowledges the Residents right to store food in their personal refrigerators however should we become aware of a food safety risk, we may have to take measures necessary to rectify this situation.
